You might not realize it, but the air quality in your home has a significant impact on your health. To improve air quality in your house, consider implementing the following tips.

Ventilate and Filter

Your home should have a ventilation system that funnels fresh outdoor air inside. In addition, professionals recommend frequent cleaning of the heating and cooling equipment to avoid pollutants from building up in the ducts. Alternatively, consider hiring professionals for this task instead.

Clean Up your Home

Keep your floors, furniture, and other surfaces clean by wiping them down frequently with a damp cloth. In addition, cleaning any spills right away to avoid dirt build-up. Also, ensure you regularly dust lamps, light fixtures, and fans to prevent dust accumulation.

Air out your Mattress 

Most people are unaware that toxins can build up inside their bedding and mattresses. To minimize the amount of toxins you inhale while sleeping, place your beddings away from the walls. Keep Humidity Levels Low
