Clark County, OH, receives funds to test for Radon in public housing!
Radon induced lung cancer is a risk for everyone. While Radon testing is more common for single family home real estate transactions residents in multifamily housing and in particular public housing communities are often less fortunate. A positive example is set in Clark County, Ohio, where funds are now made available to test for Radon in public housing. This grant is funded through the FY 2022 Radon Testing and Mitigation Demonstration for Public Housing Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) and was announced by Senator Sherrod Brown on March 20th.
